TPP, fall armyworm and exotic leafminers webinar series
The Western Australia Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), Biological Services, and AUSVEG haveĀ developed a collaborative industry webinar series focusing on tomato potato psyllid (TPP) with a short update on fall armyworm andĀ exotic leafminers.
Delivered by industry specialists, this webinar seriesĀ aims toĀ informĀ and up-skillĀ producers and service industry providers, on key research and topics associated with these pests.
The presentations include:
- An introduction to TPPĀ including host plants, general symptoms, and the impact of TPP in New Zealand.
- TPP morphology, the national surveillance project, and mass CLso testing in WA.
- Transition to management and efficacy trials of insecticides and biological control agents tested against TPP in greenhouse conditions.
- Fall armywormĀ and vegetable leafminer project update.
