Victorian businesses in the food value chain, including agricultural businesses, can apply for up to $50,000 in funding from the Victorian Government to develop their food innovation capability or expand into Asian markets.

Applications opened this week for the Victorian Government’s Food Innovation Voucher Stream, which offers two types of funding opportunity for businesses looking to innovate, diversify, improve their productivity and/or take new products to market: up to $10,000 for early stage feasibility and testing; and up to $50,000 for process innovation, product development and research and development.

Applications are also now open for the Asian Gateway Voucher Stream, which offers funding of up to $50,000 to support the development and implementation of market development plans to increased export and business activities with key Asian markets. These vouchers can be used to access tailored market development services from registered service providers who specialise in Asia capabilities, export and market engagement.
