Economic and carbon emissions model for controlled traffic farming in vegetables
This project developed a series of farm economic and CHG models relevant to different enterprise types in the Tasmanian vegetable industry. A feature of the models is the capacity to easily alter input variables in order to conduct sensitivity analyses, thereby identifying those factors which are most important in delivering the benefits of CTF. This is useful for growers to determines the key areas of investment, and also researchers and funding bodies to identify aspects of CTF that require further investigation.
