Seven fresh bean varieties were compared to the current cultivar, Broker, grown by Fourth Farm Produce Pty Ltd for exporting to Japan. The varieties were assessed for export yield, plant characteristics, pod colour, and post harvest performance. Larger scale commercial trails of Milagrow and Banquet and further investigation of Teseo is recommended.
