Integrated pest management strategies for control of key pests in Asian baby leaf vegetables – Tat soy and Pak soy
Pest monitoring is critical in baby leaf due production due to the short production period and low tolerance for damage, particularly in crops grown for minimally processed product in bags, where the specfications for damage tolerance are low, e.g. minimum sucking and chewing damage. It is essential to understand what pests and beneficials are present in crops in order to decide whether or not pest control is needed and what the appropriate method may be.
