Queensland Melon Consumer Research
This research project was designed to provide insight into the usage of and attitudes to melons so as to identify gaps in consumer knowledge and usage for the mature melons as well as to gauge reactions to the newer varieties. The issues investigated included: what consumers know about melons, uses of melons, likes and dislikes of melons, level of satisfaction with melons, explore reasons for non-use, and reactions to new types of melons.
