This project describes the importation release and post release evaluation in Eretmocerus hayati to achieve decline in Silverleaf whitefly numbers as well as enhancing understanding the appropriate scale to achieve effective management of SLW and its parasitoid. The introduction of Er. Hayati appears to have had considerable impact on SLW, with monitoring showing 76 percent of all collections now containing parasitised whitefly. Investigations into area-wide management of SLW and Er. Hayati have shown landscape context is also important.
