This short project, which ran from 2021 to 2022, delivered a crisis management plan for the onion industry. As well as identifying risks and mitigation activities, in the event of an issue or crisis, having a clear plan in place ensures the industry is prepared with the information and processes needed to respond effectively, responsibly and in a coordinated, unified way.

The management guidelines – and the relevant training delivered during this project – also ensure that stakeholders involved in crisis response for the industry understand the process and are equipped and ready to be involved should a situation arise.
