Attachment
Australian farms have become increasingly reliant on technology and innovation to remain competitive. Subsequently, the need for highly trained and skilled personnel has become more critical throughout the agriculture supply chain. This report examines what is required to provide a more accurate and consolidated account of the labour and skill needs of the Australian agriculture sector than has been historically available. An important element of the research was to identify the key data gaps associated with understanding the future labour and skill demands of the Australian agriculture sector and to make recommendations about how these data gaps could be overcome.
