AUSVEG, the Peak Industry Body for Australia’s 9,000 vegetable and potato growers, has today announced the commencement of a Strategic Partnership with Impact Fertilisers.

Impact Fertilisers was founded in 1994 and over the past two decades has grown into a leading supplier of fertilisers in Eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The company prides itself on its customer service, quality and an innovative approach to business. Impact Fertilisers has the capacity to deliver with nine distribution centres on the mainland and six depots in Tasmania. In addition, Impact Fertilisers’ manufacturing facility in Tasmania produces high quality Single Superphosphate.
“AUSVEG is proud to announce the foundation of its new Strategic Partnership with Impact Fertilisers, one of Australia’s largest suppliers of quality fertilisers, and looks forward to working closely with them on issues pertinent to the horticulture industry so that growers may benefit from the two organisations’ combined wealth of knowledge,” said AUSVEG Chief Executive Officer, Richard Mulcahy.
“The team at Impact Fertilisers are excited about collaborating with AUSVEG in order to best provide for the plant nutrition needs of Australian vegetable and potato growers,” said Impact Fertilisers Spokesperson Geoff Pelizzo, General Manager Sales and Trading.
As part of this Strategic Partnership, a representative from Impact Fertilisers will speak at the AUSVEG National Convention, Trade Show and Awards for Excellence, to be held from Thursday 30 May to Saturday 1 June at Jupiters Gold Coast, Queensland.
Impact Fertilisers’ National Agronomy Services Manager, Andrew Olley, will present to growers on the topic of controlled release fertiliser for horticulture as part of the Speaker Sessions at the convention.
“We are excited that Impact will be taking part in the upcoming AUSVEG National Convention, as it will allow Australian growers to experience first-hand new developments in fertiliser, as well as the know-how of an expert in the field,” said Mr Mulcahy.
“More broadly, the AUSVEG National Convention, Trade Show and Awards for Excellence is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet with a diverse range of experts discussing topics such as emerging horticultural technology and the development of export markets,” said Mr Mulcahy.
The AUSVEG National Convention, Trade Show and Awards for Excellence is the biggest event of its type in Australia and is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates to Jupiters this May.
“AUSVEG looks forward to working closely with Impact Fertilisers at the upcoming AUSVEG Convention and into the future. This is an exciting step forward for Australian horticulture,” said Mr Mulcahy.
