Australian vegetable and
potato growers will once again have access to the most up-to-date and relevant
guide to suppliers with the launch of the 2015-16 AUSVEG Suppliers Guide.

Following the overwhelmingly positive feedback from last year’s Guide, the 2015-16
Suppliers Guide has been updated to include the details of more agribusinesses
that are vital to the day-to-day running of vegetable and potato growing
operations.

“This resource has been published by AUSVEG to address a need in the vegetable
and potato industries to help growers access information that can be used to
improve the profitability and productivity of their growing operations,” said
AUSVEG spokesperson Lauren Winterbottom.

AUSVEG is the leading horticultural body representing more than 9,000
Australian vegetable and potato growers.

“AUSVEG has worked with growers and industry to gather the most relevant
resources for Australian vegetable and potato growers, and has made this guide
available free-of-charge,” said Ms Winterbottom.

“The 2015-16 AUSVEG Suppliers Guide has been updated to include even more
businesses that can help Australia’s growers in every aspect of their
businesses.”

“From superannuation to crop protection to fertilisers, it’s all contained in
the 2015-16 AUSVEG Suppliers Guide.”

The 2015-2016 Suppliers Guide is the second edition of an annual publication
produced by AUSVEG to connect industry with growers and has been released with
the latest edition of industry magazine Potatoes
Australia
. It is also accessible online via the AUSVEG website, and
will be released with the next edition of Vegetables
Australia
.

“Last year AUSVEG produced a handy information source with details on important
agribusinesses for growers that can be kept in a glove-box, used at the office,
or even viewed on-farm with any mobile device,” said Ms Winterbottom.

“The latest Suppliers Guide follows in the same vein, and is designed with our
growers in mind to make it as easy as possible to find the industry information
needed to improve their businesses and continue to produce the highest quality
vegetables.”

“It is a comprehensive list of go-to contacts for growers, and is presented in
an accessible and user-friendly to help our growers operate their businesses in
the most productive and time-efficient way.”
