One of the most highly-rated events of the 2012 AUSVEG Convention, the Agribusiness Leaders Breakfast, is returning again with an all-star panel that will inform and enlighten.

“We’re lucky enough to have secured four of agribusiness’ most prominent leaders to join Convention delegates at this exciting breakfast,” said AUSVEG Public Affairs Manager, William Churchill.
AUSVEG is the National Peak Industry Body representing Australia’s 9,000 vegetable and potato growers.
Some of the biggest names in agriculture will convene on the morning of Friday 31 May at the Pavilion Marquee at Jupiters Gold Coast to share their unique industry insights with attendees.
The panel will feature Syngenta’s Territory Head, Mr Paul Luxton, who has over twenty years of experience in agriculture and commercial management. Joining him will be Bayer’s Dr Jacqueline Applegate and DuPont Sales and Marketing Manager, Mr Jeremy Cocks, who will both provide their industry perspective to delegates.
Elders Group General Manager – Australian Network, Mr David Goodfellow, will also join the panel with a wealth of experience in managing the operations of more than 230 Elders branches across Australia.
Kicking off at 7.30am, the Agribusiness Leaders Breakfast will give delegates the unique opportunity to have their questions answered by members of the industry that they usually wouldn’t have the chance to meet.
“These industry leaders will challenge ideas and opinions about the agricultural industry and its role within the Australian economic landscape,” said Mr Churchill.
In 2012, the AUSVEG National Convention, Trade Show and Awards for Excellence attracted over 1,000 delegates to Wrest Point Hotel Casino in Hobart. The 2013 AUSVEG National Convention is set to eclipse that number and maintain its status as the biggest event in Australian horticulture.
