A NSW focus with local and national scenarios & insights

Josh Cross & Jane Bunn, Jane’s Weather, Precise & actionable weather insights
Jane’s Weather is a precision weather forecasting platform that combines global weather models with unique observations from the farm level. It provides customised weather forecasts and insights, enhanced by AI specific to operations. Josh and Jane will show how use of precision hardware and weather station networks, combined with cutting edge AI forecast modelling, empowers growers to precisely mitigate risks and optimise operations around changeable weather. NSW-based scenarios will be demonstrated.

Marek Matuzsek, Ag Logic, Strategic Irrigation Specialist
Ag Logic are precision and spatial agriculture specialists based in Tasmania. They have developed unique tools for horticulture production systems used to manage in-field variability, optimise water flow and drainage and improve risk management. Ag Logic supply and manage a large network of weather stations and sensor and telemetry units across Tasmania that feed local data into Jane’s Weather to strengthen its accuracy. Marek will demonstrate how more accurate forecasting is assisting his vegetable clients to make informed operating decisions.

Caitlin Radford, RADCO Agriculture, Moriarty Tasmania
Caitlin will provide a grower perspective on how long-term, short-term, and daily hyper local forecasts aid her to make more informed decisions about crop management, protection, ideal spraying conditions and resource allocation.
