Applications are now open for speakers looking to present at Hort Connections, the premiere event in Australian horticulture!

Next year’s event will be held from 24–26 June 2019 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, and we’re expecting over 3,250 delegates to walk through the doors over those three days, making it a great opportunity to share your research or industry experience with engaged and interested members of the horticulture supply chain.

The theme of next year’s event is “Growing our Food Future”. If you’ve got insights or ideas about how Australian horticulture can meet the challenges of the future – whether that’s through new production practices, meeting consumer needs, or any other avenue – apply to speak at Hort Connections 2019!

Interested speakers can apply easily using the online application form.

Hort Connections brings together industry members and other interested parties from every segment of the fresh produce and floral supply chain, including growers, industry service providers, government stakeholders and researchers.

The plenary sessions and separate speaker streams are highlights of each year’s event. At these sessions, industry members come together to share knowledge, discuss their lived experiences and contribute to conversations about the future of our sector.

Previous presentations have covered a wide range of topics relevant to every point in the supply chain – check out the Hort Connections 2018 program to see what was on offer, or take a look at previous years’ presentations by visiting our recaps of Hort Connections 2018 and Hort Connections 2017.
