AUSVEG is pleased to announce that leading vegetable seed company Rijk Zwaan has signed up to continue its partnership with the industry.

With around 2,800 employees in over 30 different countries, Rijk Zwaan has a global perspective of the vegetable industry and understands the challenges that growers face all around the world.

Rijk Zwaan’s Australian division has over 75 full-time employees and carries out three primary activities: marketing and sales of vegetable seed; research and development; and seed production. The sales team supports the introduction and sales of high-quality vegetable varieties in Australia across all levels of the fresh produce value chain, and the organisation provides selection pressure and testing of varietal performance under Australian conditions.

Through this Strategic Partnership with AUSVEG, Rijk Zwaan is supporting AUSVEG’s work in a range of areas, including our renewed investment in advocating for Australia’s growers. This relationship also increases information flow to the industry and our growers.
