This report details a major extension strategy undertaken to establish commercial integrated pest management (IPM) services for growers. The strategy for managing WFTand tomato spotted wilt virus in the Sydney Region builds on pre-exisiting networks and relationships in a community where English is a second language for the majority of participants and communication can be difficult. The most important finding is the increase in the adoption of the integrated pest management strategies by greenhouse growers in the Sydney Basin during the course of the project.
