AUSVEG National Manager – Export Development Michael Coote appeared in online media this week discussing the continuing increase in exports of fresh Australian vegetables. With the value of exports increasing by 3 per cent to $262.4 million in 2017/18, and volume rising by 9 per cent over the same period, Mr Coote noted that the whole vegetable category had averaged 10 per cent year-on-year growth over the past three years.
