While rainfall in the week ending 18 March has been limited, the median rainfall total for March has already been achieved across large parts of inland northern and eastern Australia.

Water storage levels in the Murray-Darling Basin increased, and allocation prices in the Victorian Murray below the Barmah Choke increased.
