The Australian Government announced it is committing an additional $317.1 million in funding for the International Freight Assistance Mechanism (IFAM).

With $95 million to directly address upcoming summer seasonal demand and $222.1 million to extend IFAM to June 2021, the funding injection will help keep international supply chains open.

The IFAM initiative is supporting Australian growers to export their high-quality produce into key export markets to stay connected with their overseas customers and continue to contribute to the global supply chain.

AUSVEG encourages exporting growers to continue to engage directly with their Freight Forwarder to access IFAM flights.
