One week remains for growers to RSVP to Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association and VegNET – Wide Bay Burnett’s “Biosecurity and Beneficials” workshop.

VegNET is a strategic levy investment under the Hort Innovation Vegetable Fund.

The meeting is scheduled for 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday 18 February at BFVG’s office (23 Enterprise St, Svensson Heights Queensland), with Callum Fletcher from AUSVEG discussing biosecurity concerns and property protection, while Madeleine Quirk from AUSVEG will provide an update on the vegetable leafminer.

In addition, Cesar Australia’s Dr Olivia Reynolds will discuss field and landscape management to support beneficial arthropods.

Afternoon tea will be provided, and the finalised suite of speakers will be announced soon.
