Harvest Trail Services and the Harvest Trail Information Service connect workers with employers in harvesting areas across Australia.

In April, the Federal Government announced changes to Harvest Labour Services to encourage more Australian job seekers to take up seasonal work. As a result, from 1 July:

  • The Harvest Labour Services name changed to Harvest Trail Services.
  • Harvest Trail Services expanded into 16 horticulture regions experiencing labour supply difficulties across Australia.
  • Harvest Trail Services providers receive new financial incentives, when they place and keep Australian job seekers in seasonal work.

As part of the reforms the Harvest Trail website has been revamped, so that job seekers (including Australians and visa holders) and employers can easily see what jobs and services are currently available.

A National Harvest Guide has also been published.
