The ‘homebody economy’ looks set to stay.

During the pandemic, we have seen a surge in vegetable sales; an increase in the number of consumers, both here and around the world, engage in online shopping; and a notable shift toward pre-packed produce options.

Take a look at this case study, developed from the Hort Innovation-funded Harvest to Home project, which maps out the post-COVID opportunity for fresh produce.

Harvest to Home is an interactive online dashboard that provides users with up-to-date retail information and consumer trend data on a range of vegetable commodities on a single platform.

All of the data is provided by Nielsen, which collates it through a home scan service, that surveys around 10,000 Australian households.
