To engage children to become their own pest warrior, a new set of resources has been made available by the AGVIC managed Urban Plant Health Network.

Aimed at urban school kids and gardeners, a creative manga-styled comic features a “pest warrior’ character, who shows how fun and important it is to look out for top exotic plant pests that are potentially impacting a range of industries.

In addition, the Network has created a series of downloadable kids’ activity books about the several particularly ‘bad bugs’ that we don’t want in Australian gardens.
