VegPRO, the vegetable industry’s own national training initiative, is delivering a series of workshops in East Gippsland to address industry needs across a range of skills and knowledge areas.

In coordination with the VegNET program, which is being delivered in East Gippsland by the East Gippsland Food Cluster, the workshops will be held across March and April and will deliver on a training plan responding to grower concerns, including:

  • The Horticulture Code of Conduct (Thursday 22 March 2018)
  • Irrigation skills training (Thursday 12 April 2018)
  • Mental health first aid (Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 April 2018)

Times and venues for these workshops will be confirmed in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on the Weekly Update for more information, or contact industry development officer Shayne Hyman at shayne.hyman@eastgippslandfoodcluster.com.au.
