South Australian potato growers are encouraged to join the final two of a four-part potato management webinar series.

The webinar on 16 June from 3.30pm-4pm AEST will discuss hydrophobic soils and potato production, including the causes, impacts and associated costs of hydrophobicity as well as irrigation management. Register here.

The last webinar on 18 June from 3.30pm-4pm AEST will help growers learn about soil amendment options for lifting potato production in saline environments, including biologicals, biostimulants and cover crops. Register here.

The webinar series — delivered in partnership with the Soil Wealth ICP team and AUSVEG SA — will summarise the outcomes of a three-year Hort Innovation-funded project, Impact of groundwater quality on the management of centre-pivot-grown potato crops (PT16001), coordinated by E.E. Muir & Sons, trading as Serve-Ag.
