AUSVEG in the media (week ending 11/12/18)
AUSVEG CEO James Whiteside appeared in print media this week commenting on news that vegetable processor Simplot is processing record volumes at its plants in Bathurst, Ulverstone and Devonport. Mr Whiteside said it was important to ensure Australia has an active and profitable processing industry, and warned that growers were at a financial disadvantage to imported products from industries with cheaper production costs.
